Personal interests: New York offers a wealth of entertainment and cultural opportunities, and I try to take advantage of as many as I can. I am a “Met” fan in the full meaning of the word: the New York Mets are my favorite baseball team, and I enjoy going to the Metropolitan Opera and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In addition, I enjoy running, and like to read history and biography books. I am currently reading Eight Men Out: The Black Sox and the 1919 World Series by Eliot Asinof. I am active in several community and professional groups including: president, Charlton Street Block Association; member, board of trustees, Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation; member and former treasurer, American Society of Journalists and Authors.
